Target Corporation confirms encrypted PINs were stolen
On December 27, 2013, Target Corporation posted a news release on their website regarding the Target Data Security breach pertaining to consumers encrypted PINs which have been confirmed were stolen. The Secret Service and the FBI continue their criminal and forensic investigation. This is the second largest data security breach in the United States history.
