October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. If you desire to participate, please wear the color pink.  The tenth calendar month is celebrated as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Thus, join us this month to celebrate and encourage females and males to get an annual physical.  Of course, we encourage you to inform mother’s, father’s, spouses, significant others, aunts, uncles, and other relatives to get a check-up. What is Breast Cancer? This type of cancer starts in the breast and thereafter the cells in the breast grow out of control.  The most common kinds of breast cancer are invasive ductal carcinoma and invasive lobular carcinomaThe key focus goal is to share awareness pertaining to the importance of taking the test.  It is important for you to regularly exam your breast on your own and schedule a mammogram.  Nevertheless, inform the individual to schedule a doctor appointment.

If they do not have one, reach out to your doctor for a referral or recommendation.  For example, as an advocate, offer support to meet onsite or drive them to the appointment.

There are many individuals who are unaware they have breast cancer signs and symptomsHence, to understand the cancer statistics, you should review the U. S. Breast Cancer StatisticsResource sharing of information is a mere communication tool to use social media, websites, brochures, bulletin boards, and any other means to disburse the literature.

Therefore, if you need a ride to the doctor reach out to a family member, friend, neighbor, or a local church.  To learn more about National USA Foundation, Inc., please visit the What We Do and view Our Commitment on our home page.
