2014 Tax Season to Open January 31, 2014
Based upon the IRS Announcement IR-2013-100 dated December 18, 2013, which is provided below in its entirety, the 2014 Tax Season to file your 2013 income tax returns will begin on January 31, 2014. The Internal Revenue Service and/or state governments will not process the returns prior to this date for the current year taxpayers. To speed up the process if you are entitled to a refund, the IRS is encouraging taxpayers to efile their tax returns.
