Rev. Dr. Clifford A. Jones, Sr. is the Senior Pastor at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has a Bachelor of Science from Maryland State College; a Master of Divinity and Master of Theology from Southeaster Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina; a Doctor of Ministry from Boston School of Theology in Boston, Massachusetts; and has studied at Regents Park College in Oxford, England and Baptist Theological Seminary, in Ruschlikon, Switzerland. Dr. Jones, Sr., is an Advisory Board Member of Faith Partnerships, Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina; Church Childcare Initiative and Founder of the Table of Faith-Table of Giving sponsored by Faith Partnership, Inc.; former Chairman of the Governance Committee for the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.; Board Member for the National USA Foundation, Inc., Board of Trustees Member at Hood Theological Seminary, Salisbury, North Carolina; Member of Aid and Nomination Committee of Baptist World Alliance, Falls Virginia, Virginia; member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and the Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Inc.; and Life Member of National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). He has published a number of books and received numerous awards.
